Best Of All Times Vol. I ⚪️

146 classics from the 60s, 70s and 80s

Do you long for the golden age of music? Best Of All Times Vol. I ⚪️ brings together the best classics from the 60s, 70s and 80s: 146 songs —nearly 10 hours— handpicked by Lalo Diener alongside Santi Arnau. With 673 saves, it's one of my most cherished playlists, and here I'll tell you why it deserves a Follow.

Where the great anthems began

This first volume travels back to the decades that defined popular music: the pop and rock of the sixties, seventies and eighties, with those melodies that have been passed down from generation to generation. Timeless ballads, rock anthems and radio classics that sound just as good today as they did on day one.

It's the perfect soundtrack for the nostalgic and for anyone who wants to discover the roots of everything that came after. Each song is, quite literally, a classic for all time.

Note: Spotify doesn't display BPM on the playlist page, so we haven't included tempo figures to avoid making them up. The journey alternates between mellow tracks and others full of energy.

The legends who started it all

This list is a who's who of classic music. Among the most featured artists are Supertramp and The Beatles (5 tracks each), followed by TOTO, Elton John, Queen and Cat Stevens (4 each), plus Madonna, Air Supply, Tears For Fears, Earth, Wind & Fire, Phil Collins, Foreigner and The Alan Parsons Project.

Among the standout songs you'll find:

• "Here Comes The Sun" and "Hey Jude" — The Beatles
• "Bohemian Rhapsody" — Queen
• "Africa" and "Rosanna" — TOTO
• "Rocket Man" — Elton John
• "The Logical Song" — Supertramp
• "September" — Earth, Wind & Fire
• "Everybody Wants To Rule The World" — Tears For Fears
• "Dreams" — Fleetwood Mac
• "Total Eclipse of the Heart" — Bonnie Tyler
• "Under Pressure" — Queen and David Bowie

Pure classics, from start to finish.

Perfect for

• Nostalgic nights and classic-rock marathons
• Parties and get-togethers across generations
• Road trips singing along to the great anthems
• Setting the mood at bars, dinners and after-dinner chats in style
• Sharing with those who grew up with this music
• Discovering the roots of today's pop and rock
