Cumbias Ruta 99 Para Ti 🟣

125 cumbias to dance and party to non-stop

Turn up the volume, the party's starting! Cumbias Ruta 99 Para Ti 🟣 is the cumbia dance playlist that can't be missing from your next fiesta: 125 songs and nearly 7 hours of the best sonidero, classic and modern cumbia. With 209 saves, it's a direct route to the dance floor, from the timeless Colombian sound to the slowed-down "rebajada" style that lights up any gathering. 💃

Curated by Lalo Diener ✔︎, this selection blends Mexican, Colombian and tropical cumbia into a single journey: what's playing at the party, at the neighborhood sonidero, and in the car on the way to the get-together. Pure flavor to keep your feet moving.

The kings of sonidero cumbia

The heart of the playlist is Los Ángeles Azules, the undisputed kings of cumbia, featured with a bunch of anthems like “Cómo Te Voy A Olvidar”, “El Listón De Tu Pelo” and **”Mis Sentimientos”**, plus their newest collaborations with Belinda, Kenia Os, Emilia, María Becerra and Yuridia. Alongside them shines the immense Selena with eternal Tejano classics: “Amor Prohibido”, “Como La Flor”, “Bidi Bidi Bom Bom” and “Baila Esta Cumbia”.

No cumbia playlist is complete without the legendary La Sonora Dinamita (“Mi Cucu”, “Se Me Perdió La Cadenita”) or the electrocumbia phenomenon of Raymix with “Oye Mujer” and “Fake Lover”. Tradition and modernity, all made for dancing. 🎶

From Colombian cumbia to timeless tropical hits

What makes this route special is its full tour through the genre. There are the greats of the Colombian and sonidero sound: Grupo Cañaveral, La Sonora Santanera, Los Ángeles de Charly, Rayito Colombiano and the maestro Celso Piña with “Cumbia Sampuesana”. And of course, the tropical classics we all sing along to: “Sopa De Caracol” by Banda Blanca, “La Negra Tiene Tumbao” by Celia Cruz, “La Ventanita” by Garibaldi and “Mayonesa” by Chocolate.

There are also modern nods and unexpected versions, like the cumbia by Juanes with Los Ángeles Azules, or “Cariñito” reinvented by Lila Downs and Panteón Rococó. It's literally the soundtrack to any Latin party. 🪗
