Reggaeton de Ayer Para Ti 🟣

159 old school perreo classics to enjoy

Let's go, this is pure, authentic perreo. Reggaeton de Ayer Para Ti 🟣 is the definitive old school reggaeton playlist: 159 songs and nearly 9 hours of the anthems that defined the genre's golden era, from gasolina to bloque. With 229 saves, it's a direct trip back to the dembows that got all of us dancing. 🔥

Curated by Lalo Diener ✔︎ in collaboration with Gago Cruzz, this selection gathers the best of old school reggaeton: the perreo classics that play at every nostalgic party, pure baila y vibra con reggaetón de ayer.

The kings of the genre: Daddy Yankee, Wisin & Yandel and Don Omar

The heart of the list is the three greats. Daddy Yankee reigns with eternal anthems like "Gasolina", "Lo Que Pasó, Pasó" and "Limbo", one of the most present voices across the whole playlist. Alongside him, Wisin & Yandel (who own the cover art) bring essential classics like "Pam Pam", "Sexy Movimiento" and "Abusadora".

And of course, the "King of Kings" Don Omar with "Danza Kuduro", "Pobre Diabla", "Dale Don Dale" and the unforgettable "Bandoleros" alongside Tego Calderón. The pillars of reggaeton, all together. 🎶

From the bloque to the dance floor: the classics you can't skip

What makes this list unmissable is its complete journey through the golden era. The pioneers and legends are here: Tego Calderón ("Pa' Que Retozen"), Ivy Queen ("Yo Quiero Bailar"), Zion & Lennox, Nicky Jam ("Travesuras"), Plan B and Alexis y Fido. Also shining are the bloque heavyweights like Arcángel, De La Ghetto, Ñengo Flow, Farruko (in his rawest era), J Álvarez and Gotay "El Auténtiko".

And we can't leave out the bangers we all sing along to: "Dutty Love" by Don Omar featuring Natti Natasha, "Down" by R.K.M & Ken-Y, "6 AM" and "Ay Vamos" by J Balvin, and cult perreo tracks like "Noche De Entierro" and "Mayor Que Yo". The history of perreo in a single playlist. 💜
